Stable and reproducible positioning in radiotherapy

Radiotherapy uses ionizing radiation to cure diseases or delay their progression. Gamma, X-ray and electron radiation are mainly used. 

The therapy is preceded by a complex planning process, and irradiation errors are largely eliminated by very precise and reproducible patient positioning using suitable aids.
